Vickie relocated to York in 1991 with her family, when her husband, Tom, accepted an engineering position with the Harley Davidson plant in York.  Leaving family to relocate to Pennsylvania was difficult, but Vickie, Tom and their 2 daughters, Shauna and Melanie also felt it would be an adventure.  That "adventure" is probably some of the reason that working with people who are relocating or selling is such a pleasure for Vickie.

Vickie started her real estate career in 1992 by accepting a position to work as a licensed assistant to a well established - high profile agent, Dedi Sykes.  She continued that relationship until the loss of Dedi to cancer in 2003.

The time that followed was difficult for Vickie, as she dealt with the loss of her mentor and surrogate mother, but as anyone who has come to know her, she excelled in her career.
